I knew my daughter was dyslexic from age 4, but with COVID and also on the advice of the school SENDCo I didn’t get her assessed until she was 9. In the meantime, I did a lot of work with her at home to increase her reading proficiency. I was therefore worried that we had masked the dyslexia so felt it critical that we picked an assessor to look deeply into our daughter’s issues. Heather took the time to speak with me twice during my research into the right assessor, she was reassuring about my concerns. Prior to the assessment she conducted thorough questionnaires with my daughter, parents and teachers and called to understand discrepancies between what the different parties said. When she conducted the assessment, she made it fun and put our daughter at ease. The report was thorough but easy to understand, Heather called to explain the findings and kept me updated with timescales. I am very pleased that we chose Heather, she is conscientious, warm and a great communicator. I would highly recommend.

Heather has been amazing through the whole process. Heather recently did a dyslexic assessment with my 10 year old daughter.

It was done in school and although the test was long my daughter enjoyed the structure and engaged with Heather really well.
